HeloWerks
WASP helicopter kit will be available following the
Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) approval of
the helicopter kit under it’s “51%-rule.” The
following pricing information relates to the current
price of the helicopter kit and is subject to change
without notice. A commitment to purchase the
helicopter kit will insure the potential buyer a
place on the production line at the current
price. This money will be held in escrow in
accordance with the terms of our Deposit Agreement
that may be obtained by downloading here
(A).
The standard WASP helicopter
kit ($81,000 USD) includes:
- All documentation
- Turbine engine
(including fuel and oil systems)
- Tail rotor assembly
(including tail boom)
- Landing gear
- Flight controls
- Airframe
- Main rotor assembly
- Basic
instrumentation
- Main rotor
transmission assembly
The three-stage progressive
purchase program includes:
GROUP 1__________$22,000 USD
Includes:
A.
All documentation (construction, engine,
maintenance, and flight); necessary
drawings and templates, and
complete packing list.
B.
Composite fuselage, landing gear, fuel tanks,
control system, tail rotor boom,
main rotor drive system, and
assorted hardware.
GROUP 2__________$35,000 USD
Includes:
A.
Turbo-shaft engine, mounting hardware, inlet
manifold, and control system.
B.
Flight instruments, fuel pumps, oil pumps,
heat exchangers, and wiring harness.
GROUP 3__________$24,000 USD
Includes:
A.
Main rotor blades and hub.
B.
Tail rotor blades and hub.
The following items are not
included: paint, upholstery, crating, freight, and
flight maintenance training.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
HeloWerks’
greatest concern is safety. To this end, the
purchaser must provide proof that he has had
helicopter training from a certified instructor or a
minimum of 10 hours of dual instruction before the
last group is delivered or the total package is
sent. You, the purchaser, are fully responsible for
the safe operation of your WASP helicopter; this
includes the manufacture, maintenance, and legal
operation of this experimental aircraft. This is the
same responsibility expected from any experimental
aircraft kit builder and operator. |
