The power plant for the WASP is a modified JFS-100-13A free turbine turboshaft engine.  The basic engine is rated at 90 hp.  Product improvement plans call for increasing this output to 125 hp.  Three modifications are going to be made to the base engine: 1) bifurcated exhaust duct, 2) ceramic coating of internal parts, and 3) the addition of an upgraded compressor wheel.
